Krka is the seventh national park in Croatia known for its large number of waterfalls. It is named after the river Krka which is part of the park. The National Park is located in central Dalmatia, just a few kilometers northeast of the town of Šibenik. The River Krka has seven travertine waterfalls and its beauty is a natural karst phenomenon, which is recommended to be visited in spring and summer, as you can experience its full splendor during those periods. After Jaruga hydroelectric plant we do walk tour through the park and discover a green oasis with endemic species of birds, fish, and butterflies. After time spent in the park, our guide will accompany you on a boat ride which is really the highlight of the day. When getting off the boat you arrive in Skradin, a city that is one of the oldest in our area and the capital for Roman army drills. You will have some free time to take a walk through the little town, climb a fortress and enjoy panoramic views, or take a swim at the beach where the sea and Krka river mix. After relex in Skradin we will be hosted by one of the most famouse village family restauranst known for the tastiest roast pork. In this restaurant we will taste - Dalmatian food that was eaten in that special moments in the line of a Dalmatian man include : pork on spit, roasted pumpkin, tomatoes and salat from local farms and glass of homemade wine, bread under the oven. OPTION: order other types of dishes : fish, grilled meat and vegan menu. After returning from Krka, we will take you to a free dessert, in the most famous small local caffe shop in Split. Since this is a private tour, the schedule and stays in the park can be arranged due to your wishes.
